About Us

Each year approximately 500,000 Americans are given a new lease on life through joint replacement procedures.  At Reston Hospital Center, we are proud to complete nearly 600 of these procedures each year.  The Total Joint Center team is focused on one goal for their patients,helping them return to the active lifestyle that conditions like osteoarthritis have been keeping them from.  Everyday clinicians at the Total Joint Center are helping men and women get back out there and walk, bike, swim, dance and most importantly have fun with their families without pain-patients have even gone on to compete in cycling races and triathlons after their joint replacement surgery. 

The Total Joint Center at Reston Hospital was formed in 2002, through the collaborative spirit of physicians from several orthopedic surgery, rehabilitation, and anesthesia practice groups in the Northern Virginia region, with the vision of providing a comprehensive center of coordinated care for patients undergoing joint replacement.  Since its inception the Total Joint Center has performed nearly 3,000 joint replacements, and has been leading the region technique, technology and experience. To learn more about our quality outcomes, click the link to the left.
